Guru presents official withdrawal letter to Charter House

Multiple hit maker, Guru has done the most honourable thing by presenting an official withdrawal letter to the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.(VGMAs)

Guru, announced his withdrawal from this year’s award scheme as soon as the organizers released the full list of nominees.

The hiplife/hiphop dynamo, who secured 3 nominations in the award scheme revealed that he was simply not interested in the awards scheme anymore.

Guru’s manager, Ray Moni confirmed Guru’s official withdrawal from the VGMAs to razzonline.com:

“Yesterday I officially presented a letter of Guru’s withdrawal from this year’s VGMAs to Charter House… As I have already said, we are really not enthused about how Guru secured just 3 nominations considering the kind of work he did in the year under review.

“We have come to the realization that the organizers of the scheme always undermine our efforts and strides by not giving us the nominations and awards we deserve; and this made this decision ineluctable”, Ray Moni told razzonline.com

Guru,has so far released videos for his hit single tracks,’ Blessings Feat. Ennwai Dobble and Raw.
