LilWin Reveals Why He Dont Write His Songs Anymore


Kojo Nkansah popularly known as Lilwin has revealed why he is not writting his songs now but rather doing frestyles.

Kumawood star LilWin, apart from his acting prowess, is also a formidable force to reckon with when it comes to music in Ghana.

For some years now, he has featured and released several popular tunes including Guru’s ‘Meba Be Tia Wo’ and his songs, ‘Mama Boss’, ‘Choices’, and ‘I Don’t Think Far’.

While he personally composes all his songs, the actor revealed that he has resolved not to write any of the songs.

LilWin, born Kwadwo Nkansah, says he arrived at the decision because all the songs he took his time to write never became hit songs.

Instead, he revealed in an interview with Andy Dosty on Musik Box on Hitz FM that, the songs he did not write turned out to enjoy nationwide successes.

“We don’t write, if you write, they won’t buy… I wrote six songs all didn’t hit,” he confessed.

He said even his yet-to-be-released song with actor and comedian, Kalybos, was not written by him.

Asked what makes him unique, the Kumasi-based actor revealed that he loves people and he always tries to be humble at all times.
